A Compendium of Proven Community-based Prevention Programs

The New York Academy of Medicine has compiled a compendium of proven community-based prevention programs, analyzing the variance among those programs that reduce tobacco use, increase physical activity and/or improve eating habits. The Academy synthesizing a range of conclusions based on the growing body of evidence on the efficacy of such prevention efforts.
